This is everything you look for in a Wainwright piece! It has that beautiful seventies does Victorian goddess feel mixed with Grecian elements and is almost caftan like in its cut. It slips over the head and settles perfectly into place with a very low plunging V front. The skirt begins at the empire waist and is two cascading tiers that end just above the ankle. A silver lame ribbon is used to highlight the shoulders and V front. This ribbon is picked up again on each of the hem lines of the skirt and gives them a bit of shape and structure. The waist is elastic so its incredibly easy to wear. Then for the perfect finish the skirt has bits of red glitter hand applied and fused to the chiffon to create that fantastic design. It is just beautiful and a rarity as it is her early forty seven street label! Excellent, museum quality condition!
The inner tier of the skirt serves as the lining, the top portion is unlined. It slips over the head with elastic at the waist for fit. It may fit a smaller framed, small busted size 6 girl but do check measurements.
